Where Have All the Listeners Gone?
We all need to feel seen and heard. This is especially true when we're hurting from a loss.

Many of those around us can't relate. Or perhaps they don't want to. We wonder if anyone cares.
From the Grieving Heart:
While on the road to Heaven
The streets are paved with Love
The lights that shine the way for us
Are made by God Above
Sweet music fills the air around...
As Angels sing their song
Our family there to meet us
When loss hits, we feel vulnerable. This is natural and common, but uncomfortable. Life feels shaky, even scary now.
Hey You, it’s me in Heaven
And I’m here to say Hello
I didn’t get to say goodbye
Before I had to go
I want to let you know that...
I am here, just at your side
Just look to your left shoulder
When loss hits, life changes. This includes our relationships. So often, the people arond us don't understrand. We can feel rejected, invisible, and alone.
We pass these keys, to cease this journey
Our mind freezes, admiring the ceilings
Concealing these feelings of loss
Seemingly tossed inside a soulless world
Never taught how to sew the hurt
Yes, life is a tough tour
Although, we seek guides to countour
This maze which consumes the brain
When someone dies, we lose not only them, but many things attached to them. The losses can pile up quickly.
When we get hit by loss, our entire being feels the shock. We can feel like we're somehow disappearing, like shadows in the night.
Some losses change everything. We're not the same people we used to be. How could we be?
