As my head lies upon a pillow

And my body starts it’s rest

My Soul know’s, soon you’ll be at my side

From Heaven my dreams will be Blessed

In life I long to hear your voice

I miss your warm loving embrace

I want to touch you with my hands

If only I could see your face

But in my dreams I have you with me

You walk beside me as we speak

I hear your voice as I remember it

And feel your kiss upon my cheek

You tell me that you’re doing Great

And not to worry since you’ve gone

You say you’re with me as I live

You say you see me carry on

And when I wake up in the morning

And I don’t have you at my side

I know you’re watching me from Heaven

I know your Soul is filled with Pride

And although your life here is through

You know how hard it was to live

You said I have learning to do

My soul has so much more to give

And So I’ll carry you with me

No matter how hard life may seem

For I know when I go to sleep

That I will see you in my dreams
