The Season Has Ended (The Dream)
The season has ended. Blossoms of purples and whites fill my sight. I pass through the fields of heather and look beyond the sea. A peacefulness settles in the misty dew surrounding my body and filling my senses. I am with someone. A beautiful feeling of pure and abundant love emanates sparkles of light that reach deep within my soul. It is my son. He reaches for my hand and helps me up. We begin to walk towards the glistening call of the ocean. I look back at a young, tired and weary woman whose love was so vast and so deep that she couldn't bare to live one more day without her beloved son. The angels surround this woman so distant now but so familiar. Her despair now gone. The beauty in life that she so desperately sought is now resurrected. Now complete. He stands beside me. We continue through a passage with scents of salt and lavender wafting through the delicate space between the worlds and we reach the waters edge. A cliff stands between the shoreline and us. And in that instant, I see what I have left behind. My only hope is forgiveness. I believe in my choice. I chose to be home. I am home. I am with my son. I am also but a whisper away.
