Someone Is Missing

Someone is Missing…

Every day since I lost my little girl Kimberly I wake up with the knowledge….someone is missing

I go through my day and in the back of my mind I hear a whisper….someone is missing

I sit down to dinner with my husband and son, and in the back of my mind I hear a whisper….someone is missing

The Journey

The Journey

This grief journey is long.

It is hard.

And it is not even close to being over.

It is like climbing a sand dune.

You make one step, yet fall back halfway,

the end seems further away than when you started.

You never forget you’re grieving,

but those around you do.

ENVY

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “Envy” as “The feeling of wanting to have what someone else has.” Yeah, that just about nails it. It’s one of the “Deadly Seven Sins.” It’s a lot like jealously, with the added element of desire. The strong desire to have what they have.

nothing matters

For my dear mum ,who passed 10 years ago , though it feels like yesterday

under a sky ,I see your face in a cloud, wanting to shout your name out loud,

where are you, why did you leave me?,knowing inside I had to set you free,

Your pain became my pain at the end,you were my hero but most of all my best friend,

believe

nothing matters if you can smile at the rain
nothings lost if you can endure the pain
there is always light ,where there's the black
Its there laughing ,waiting for you to laugh back
under the shadows there is always a sun
always forgiving no matter what you've done
feel the warmth ,even when it doesn't feel okay
