I stopped to think of you today

And pictured your sweet face

Your eyes how they would smile at me

Your sweet loving embrace

I stopped to think of you today

And how I miss you so

I cherish all the time we had

Before you had to go

I stopped to think of you today

I held your picture in my hand

It is so hard without you here with me

But I know you understand

I stopped to think of you today

I felt you standing next to me

I could feel your love right at my side

Oh how I’d surely love to see

I stopped to think of you today

And how you make my life complete

Sometimes I feel as though I’m missing half

Without you my heart skips a beat

I stopped to think of you today

And how I want to make you proud

I hope you see the way I honor you

I say my love for you out loud

I stopped to think of you today

I know you’re perfect now above

And we will be together in Heaven again

Where we will share eternal love
