Filling our empty spaces with love

Filling our empty spaces with love

By Monica Jones

One of the feelings that we have when we lose someone close to our hearts, is the emptiness within.

Our hearts, our bodies feel completely empty,

Our lives seem purposeless,

Our dreams and hopes are gone.

As we start our journey of transformation, we begin to remember who we are; love.

This remembrance allows us to connect in a deeper way with the love that we have for our departed loved ones, as we open to that love, we also connect with the love that they have for us; discovering that not only our love cannot die and it will be eternal, but that in the presence of that love our feeling of emptiness diminishes a little.

We also start to comprehend that the feeling of loss connects us to the emptiness and on the contrary the feeling of love connect us to our hearts, our souls, our essences; therefore our departed ones.

If we allow love to begin to fill our empty spaces, we may begin to re-build our hearts, our lives may find a new purpose; we may re-claim our dreams and hopes.

Love is indeed all that we need, it is a powerful healing language. Let’s allow love to flow from us, through us, to us. Our empty spaces can be turned into beautiful places if we allow ourselves to fill them with love.
