My Father, My Friend

My father wasn't like any other dads I knew

He loved me so much and guided me through

He taught me some many things and learned them all

from being skinny, had a hip problem and I am very tall

i get that from him, my gorgeous long legs

and many more lessons including ketchup and eggs

Since I was three I remember sitting on your knee

you would tell me what a cute neck I have and for all to see

always made me feel so special in so many ways and felt so free

My Dad, My friend, now my angel in the sky

I hope you are looking down at me n see how hard  I try

saying there's my lil girl, my CLBR, and my mini me...

For ever you will be with me mind, body, spirit free

i love and miss you and fighting to be the best I can be

You taught me so many things, I remember them one by one

telling me The best thing I can do is to have some fun

Live your life and the best you can be

at the end of the day it's just me..

RIP DADDY 11/14/41- 8/9/2015
