Time or Distance

Days go by and moments pass,
Like clockwork or sand through and hour glass.
There is no going back or changing time,
This mountain of grief is a very steep climb.
Days like today just intensify the pain,
My world as I know it will never be the same.
As today would have marked another month older,
The hurt and the sorrow still hit like a boulder.
Your memory lives on forever my son.
Your laugh and your smile will never be a forgotten one.
As I remember our time with a smile and tears in my eyes,
I look to the heavens and know your in the skies.
So keep shinning bright my little star,
I know exactly where you are.
For you live on here in my heart,
No measure of time or distance could keep us apart!
