If I could travel back in time

I wish I could travel back in time just to have you hold me once again.

I wish I could travel back in time just to hear your voice again

I wish I could travel back in time just to say I love you

What I wish for and what I have is the difference between a dream and reality

So when I sleep I travel, I see your smileing face, I feel the warmth of your arms around me  In my dreams cancer never came. 

I wake to reality, knowing that sweet embrace, from the past I remember, in the present I feel pain. 

I feel less pain now than when you first left me.  My memory is strong because of the way you loved me.  So I can travel back in time in my memories, I still see your smiling face  your deep voice eceos in my mind and I say out loud.
