Oh Sweet Child of Mine, Please don’t be sad

 

Since I walk in Heaven’s light

For It truly was my time to go

And I keep you in my sight

I Gave you life’s foundation

and my legacy shines clear

So don’t forget to live for me

I haven’t left you, I’m right here

I see you as you stumble

and sometimes you even fall

But, please know that I’m proud of you

I’ll pick you up, help you stand tall

Remember all the things I said

To make you who you are today

And please live your life in honor of me

As if I never went away

For a Parents love, it has no end

It lasts for all Eternity

And I’ll greet you here with open arms

Someday when you come home to me
