The Window

I was just sitting here, staring out the window.

Angels with White Wings came down and said we have to go.

I thought I was dying and became very, very afraid.

When they took my hands in theirs, I prayed and prayed and prayed.

They told me not to be scared, they had to show me something.

I couldn’t believe what I saw, but an Angel just got her wings!

Next she came up to me, as I stared in awe, it was my sister!

She said "Come fly with me", with my whole heart I surely did miss her.

She showed me Mom and Dad, Gramps and Gram, my brothers and my twin!

Then she said "Stop worrying now, we’re all ok, this is how we've been.”

She took me back to the gate and said “It’s time for you to go home now”.

I said, “Thank you Sis, I love you so,” and then I had to bow.

"Now go home and enjoy life, it’s short and it is sweet”.

“Find out why you were put there and you will be complete”!

I kissed and hugged her tight; she told me, “There are people I now need to show”.

I again was sitting here, staring out the window...
