Hey Mommy I’m right here with you

And God’s here with me too

I know you want to hold me

Just like you used to do

But I’m perfect up in Heaven now

So please don’t be so sad

I love you through each day you live

And cherish times we had

Hey Mommy it’s not sad up here

We’re happy every day

There is no sadness, pain, or fear

They’ve all been washed away

I know you talk to me at night

As tears fall on your face

I hear you as you whisper

“Please let me feel your embrace”

Hey Mommy I’ll be at your side

As you live your life through

And Mommy when your life is done

I’ll be waiting for you

So live life to it’s fullest now

So I can watch you smile

And make memories with others there

That will last their hearts a while

Hey Mommy I’ll be right here

Watching you continue on

And Hey Mommy I sure love you
