I brush against you softly

As I wipe away your tear

Don’t cry for me in Heaven

I am well, I’m fine, I’m here

I whisper into your ear

That I’m wrapped inside your soul

My love for you won’t change

I am the half that makes you whole

I send you signs from Heaven

So you won’t keep missing me

Those signs surround you every day

My signs sometimes you may not see

If some days you cannot feel me

It doesn’t mean I am not there

I am the sun upon your face

I am the wind within your hair

Don’t feel bad when you are happy

For that is what I want for you

And please just smile for me each day

For I am here to see you through

It’s simply not your time to go

But, my soul’s journey there was through

And someday we will meet again

I’ll be in Heaven to meet you

So for now go on, live, be happy

Please chase your dreams let go of fears

And I’ll be here cheering you on

As you live out your life’s last years
