As the wind picks up your ashes

And they fly throughout the air

We can feel your love surrounding us

As if you are right there

We are letting go of our tears

As we celebrate your love

And we know that you are perfect

As you live with God above

We will hold on to sweet memories

Of our days here spent with you

And the legacy of love you left

Will surely see us through

Our days will be much different now

That you’re in Heaven’s light

But, we’ll live our lives in honor of you

And we’ll speak with you each night

So as we release these ashes

We make a promise here today

You will live life now through our eyes

As if you never went away
