The day I went to Heaven
You didn’t get to say goodbye
But, it’s okay, you didn’t need to
More time will come for you and I
The life we shared was just a small glimpse...
Of what’s to come in life we’ll share
That life we shared there was a chapter
The life we have left can’t compare
You wonder if you’ll ever see me
In Heaven’s loving light someday
Oh yes, please know we’ll be together
As if we’d never been away
Please know there is no pain in Heaven
There is no sorrow, and no fear
On days you feel these tough emotions
Please know I’m at your side, I’m here
I know you feel I left you too soon
You say, “Why did you have to go?”
I’m simply on my next life’s chapter
I never left, I love you so
So when the sun shines upon your face
Please know that light’s filled with my love
And in the darnkess and the starlight
I’m watching you from just above
I’ll always be there, right at your side
As you live life in your sweet style
So there’s no need for a goodbye
I’ll simply see you in a while…..
