We would love to see you and your brothers there!

As you know, I started the foundation after I lost my 21 year old son in a car accident on July 13th, 2006 at 1:08pm right near our home in Lake Worth.

Our foundation, located at 11764 W Sample Rd #105, Coral Springs – helps parents that suffer the tragedy of losing a child as well as sibling support in Palm Beach County and Broward. Recently, we opened our grief and healing services to any and all types of loss. We are here to help all the broken hearted. However, there has been an alarming number of young children committing suicide recently within our own community. Healing Hearts foundation is being pro-active by developing “awareness” workshops for parents and young children.

We will be discussing how Social Media is having a profound effect on our youth due to bullying and demoralizing comments and how they can have such a terrible effect on our children.

Our foundation has a strong focus regarding sibling loss, grief support and workshops for young children, teenagers and young adults.

Here are some alarming facts regarding internet bullying -.

“Cyber bullying” is defined as a young person tormenting, threatening, harassing, or embarrassing another young person using the Internet or other technologies, like cell phones.
The psychological and emotional outcomes of cyber bullying are similar to those of real-life bullying. The difference is, real-life bullying often ends when school ends. For cyber bullying, there is no escape. And, it’s getting worse. Read on to get the facts.

1. Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once.
