I am Deborah-Lee and my alter-ego Mummy bumble was created through grief for a very much loved and wanted little boy ~ Alfie James Jackson ~ who was born sleeping on 19th october 2011.I called him my little bumblebee making me his mummy bumble. I wanted to help others that have had to experience the devatasting reality of a child dying noone will ever truly understand the pain felt inside until they feel it themselves. I am a member of my local SANDS group (SANDS the stillbirth and neonatal death society) and have recently become a SANDS befriender. so that i might help other families to grieve for their child(ren). I write poems ~ i found it helped me to channel my grieve in a positive way and i see it has kind of become Alfie James’s legacy. I will always speak of my little bumblebee among the stars and i hope that others will come to find comfort here.
