I’m standing on the corner

With the traffic passing by

The clouds are over head

And the sun is in the sky

It doesn’t seem the same here now

Since Heaven took you home

The days just seem to pass now

And At night, I feel alone

I long to hear your voice again

And feel your gentle touch

To see the Smile upon your face

I always loved so much

I miss the little things we did

Back then I wish I knew

How precious all the memories

Would be, I made with you

I’m trying to be strong for you

I’m trying not to cry

I know that God has plans for you

I don’t mean to ask Why

Just know that when I think of you

My Thoughts are filled with Love

And one day when my time is through

I’ll meet you up above….
