I used to think that just because I cried

I was weak and I hid behind my pride

but now I know sorrow isn't shame

and I'm stronger every time I say your name.

Now I can say I know it's true

I'm better than I was this time last year.

It's ok that I'm still missing you

That's not the way I see it I confess

But every day I heal a little more
