You hold our family tight

You do the very best you can

You try to be the strongest

It’s not easy being a man

I see the tears inside of you

Your heart broken in two

Just know that I’m in Heaven

And I’m watching over you

I’m proud of all the ways

That you dry our family’s tears

You tell them it’s okay

As you work through your own fears

The way you hold them in your arms

Your tears, you never let them show

And as You put on a strong face

Your grief is more than they will know

I know it’s hard to picture Heaven

It’s tough to believe what you can’t see

But, I am always all around you

I hear when you quietly talk to me

So Hold our family in your arms

And keep your chin up when you’re sad

For I’m counting you your strength 

To pull them through the good and bad

And someday when you get to Heaven

I will hold you close to me

And I will Thank You for being strong

For them when I just couldn’t be
