Broken Strings ©2014

Sweetly haunting I ring through the night catching rustling palms of a low hung Sago.

My melodious tune dances with a beating rhythm of the howling wind beckoning the sleepless to a hypnotic wake.

" Bend your ear, come listen to me," I sing in haste! For my music plays only to those desiring to hear.

In the midst of the night I will lift you up giving you wings to reach the skies amongst the stars beyond the clouds.

So follow my music, it leads far above the dark. It leads all the way to cascading lights, and revives your broken strings that lie deep within your heart.

For I see your tears each night. I hear your lonely cries. So come soar with me above your deep shadows and I will kiss your face with my pale moonlight.

Let my haunting music hug you. For I long to comfort weeping eyes.

Let my melodious tune sing to you and touch your broken strings that lie deep within your heart.

I know your pain, it's just like mine. My son too died... another place, another time.

I closed my eyes, alone I wept and  turned my back from sinners' crime. I done all this to bring you hope, new joy, new life. So wipe your eyes from sorrow's cries. I heard your prayers deep in the night. Now trust in Me, The Trinity, and let Us mend your broken strings. Broken Strings that lie deep within your heart!
