My Best Friend

If I could turn back time I would go back to my teenage years

I would take back every rude thing I said

I would choose to spend time with you, over my friends, instead

I am thankful we became so close over your last several years

I miss our walks, our talks, our adventures with my boys, and all that we would do

Our time was cut too short, oh how I wish I had more time with you

I am glad I finally woke up to see

The most beautiful blessing God had given me

Now I pray that I can show my baby girl
