Remember me within your laughter

I am the corners of your smile

Though it is hard since I’m in Heaven

You know that crying’s not my style

Remember me within your footsteps

I will be right here at your side

Please go wherever your heart leads you

You see, my spirit never died

Remember me as you embrace life

Please honor me in all you do

Though you can’t see me with your eyes now

Just know that I now live through you

You see, those dreams are truly visits

We’re truly closer than it seems
