Missing You is Exhausting

Grief is exhausting. Missing someone can be incredibly draining. Everything seems like a solo climb of Mount Everest.

Surely Someone Could Have Done Something

When loss strikes, we're stunned. We wonder about many things. Did it have to happen? Could someone have done something to prevent it?

From the Grieving Heart:

My Guilt List Has No End

Guilt is not our friend, yet he comes visiting often. At times, it seems there is no end to the things we wonder about and can feel guilty for.

I Feel Guilty

What happened? Why? We look for someone responsible. Often, that somehow ends up being us. We feel guilty.

From the Grieving Heart:

Where Did Everyone Go?

When loss hits, our world changes. This includes our relationships. No one seems to understand. People disappear. We wonder, "Where did everyone go?"

Another year without you...

It’s always so depressing

when I realize how long it’s been

     since I’ve seen you;

Since you've been gone

I keep thinking you're coming back.

I waited, day and night

But you never came.

Now...I am so torn...

Stop The Clot

This is an article I was asked to write to bring awarness to Factor V Leiden, blood clot disorder.  This is what Theresa died from and.  Everyone needs to be made aware of this disorder to prevent further deaths.

Something all moms and Teenage girls need to know

I am not a author, vendor, nor run a support group. I am a grieving mother. I wanted to share my story with everyone so my daughters death is not in vain and will hopefully bring awareness to others so no one else has to endure this kind of pain.

My 16 year old daughter, Theresa died on August 16, 2010. Theresa died from a pulmonary embolism, caused by a blood clot, caused by the birth control pill. Before I tell her story, please note that I am not against the birth control pill.
