When We Feel Like We're Going Crazy
Are we going crazy? For some of us, it doesn’t seem like a very far drive.
“I’m forgetting things. My keys. Appointments. What I came into the room for. What I just said,” Wes shared.
“I can’t think straight. I feel strange. Am I going crazy?” he asked.
Wes lost his wife Stevie several months earlier. His heart was broken. Grief invaded his mind. With emotion taking over, there was simply less energy and space left for the mundane things of everyday life.
No wonder he was forgetting things and felt a little nuts.
You’re far from crazy
No, you’re not going crazy. You’re in a crazy situation compared to the norm.
You’ve lost someone dear to you. It’s like your right arm is gone. You’re heart has been torn in two. Perhaps you feel less than whole now.
Dreams are broken. Plans are shattered. What you counted on is no longer. Everything has changed.
It’s like a sinkhole opened up underneath you and you’re in a free fall to who knows where. You’re dazed and drained. Life is surreal. Emotional pain greets you around every corner.
That’s pretty crazy. No wonder you’re not yourself.

“I’m not crazy, but life without you is.”
Remember, you’re not nuts, but life is right now.
