What Keeps Widows up at Night: It’s Not the Coffee

Only one now holds the wishes, hopes and dreams that belonged to a couple.  Homes to build, trips to take, children to raise, that once were a couples plan are now the plan of one.  Why do widows stay up at night? In the opening chapters of 'A Road Less Travelled' by M Scott Peck, the author talks about discipline and how it is this discipline which gives us not only structure in our lives, but also assists us in overcoming difficulties and problems. Discipline here is in the sense of being in control of ourselves and doing what needs to be done before doing what we want to do. If we do what we want to do first, then there is less incentive to do what needs to be done and if what needs to be done is difficult, then it will be easier to put off doing it.
