Celebrating The Fourth of July and seeing Signs of the Beyond Life:
We come together this weekend to celebrate as a nation, as citizens of these United States of America, but we also celebrate our military, service people, and those we lost throughout life. I am celebrating my son Charlie who passed away July 3, 2009, from complications of pneumonia at age twenty-three.
I reflect on his life as one of being short in span but also in richness we were blessed to have him for twenty-three years. We as a nation, we come together to reflect on our heritage to sustain us, our faith also sustains us, but family thrives to embrace us through tragedy. Let us come together in our losses to console each other, to find our courage to travel on in our life. It's the Fourth of July weekend, we celebrate our Heritage, we also celebrate our family who has gone before us, we have family reunions, friends to grief with us, and we are never alone.
We must at times reach out to family, friends and even strangers (support groups, Doctor’s, therapist’s) to guide us through life crisis on our journey of grief. I am here to say as a grieving Mom, please reach out to your family, church, friends; anyone who will listen because all of us need to hear one simple phrase "Everything will be okay."
Life won't be easy, but God and family are here for us, pray for strength, for guidance, always remember your love ones travel with you in life even though we can't see them. I have comfort in life seeing signs from Beyond Life, my clock stopped, my dryer door opens, a song plays on Charlie's boom box (the same song) when I am thinking about Charlie. I smell food which reminds me of my Mom who passed away, June, 18, 1996.
Signs from the Beyond Life:
Usually, it will be something associated with the person in spirit:
- a certain perfume or flowers
- favorite food
- cigarette or cigar smoke
- or any other scent that reminds you of them
Have You Ever Sensed a Presence? You may not feel any physical sensation at all.
Instead, you may suddenly sense or feel the presence of your loved one next to you, or in the same room as you.
I feel Charlie's presence as I continue to write my paranormal novels about him. I have also seen him standing on our deck watching me in our pool.
At night you might even have dreams of your loved ones. I have had many, I wrote my first novel from my dreams of Charlie.
So, remember, even though we might not see our loved ones who passed on, they give us signs, but we must believe and have Faith!
