Grieving - Writing As A Healing Tool
Thoughts come and go. Grieving the death of a loved one is a journey home to self. Often in life we are too busy living to really experience life and embrace our emotions in any given moment. When someone close to us dies then living and experiencing our feelings is literally "in our face".
We can choose to ignore the rollercoaster of emotions that present when someone dies or choose to embrace our feelings and discover ways to love comfort and support ourselves on our journey.
When my mother died suddenly in February 2011 my life changed forever.
On my journey I found writing a wonderful healing tool as I embraced all my feelings.
Three and a half years later I still miss her physical presence in my life however I have nurtured my own way to connect with her spiritually.
Have you found a way to connect with your loved one?
