I am the author of Repairing Rainbows and survivor of an unspeakable tragedy.  When I was 13, my mother and two younger sisters were killed in an Air Canada plane crash. My father fell into a deep depression, and I was essentially left to fend for myself.

A teen with big dreams and plenty of faith, I somehow mustered up the courage to become happy and to lead a meaningful life. Amongst my many accomplishments, I became a registered social worker and grief therapist, summer camp director, college professor and inspirational speaker.

With a message about courage, strength, hope and choices, I now spend my time sharing my story and some of the lessons I have learned along the way.
