My doctor told me that I'm dying today

I have three to six months and no more

The doctor told me that my cancer would win

Then he turned and he walked out the door

As I lye here in bed and await all the pain

I look back on the good in my life

Like being a Daughter, a Sister, an Aunt

More important a Mother and Wife

Looking back on all of the memories made

How I wish we could make many more

But, I'll always be there for my Husband and Children

No matter what life has in store

For if I must leave this world that I know

My life I'll continue to live

Through my Husband and Children my Family and Friends

I have so much love yet to give

And as I now go to be with those I've lost

I ask that you don't shed your tears

As I will be with you through all of your trials

I'll be strong for you all through your years
