I LET YOU GO

You gave your hand to me, and then you said good bye

I held it tightly while, I sat and watched you die

I tell you now, that I don’t know how,

I let you go.

You fought so hard to stay, you didn’t want to go

You looked at me that way, and said you loved me so

I tell you now , that I don’t know how

I let you go.

You are my only love, no one else will ever do

I’ll spend my life always missing you

I tell you now, that I don’t know how

I let you go.

I want you back you know, but that isn’t right

You have no  more pain, you fought your last fight

But now I’m all alone, I feel I have no home

This one thing I know

I tell you now, that I don’t know how

I let you go.
