Birthdays are supposed to be fun,
but since you’ve passed away,
Birthdays are nothing but sadness.
You’re not here anymore;
smiling, laughing, talking and celebrating with us.
The only thing I have now are memories of you.
During the holidays, and especially on your birthdays,
they aren’t enough.
But I am grateful for all the years we were together.
You are, and always will be my sister.
For that, I want you to know how special you are to me.
