Picture of You

Hey there son
Haven’t seen you in a while
Wish I could get  a picture of you.

How do you look?
Have you changed at all?
Or do you look like you will always look?

Who have you met?
I bet my Grandparents love you.
I wonder if they look young up there?

I wonder if maybe
My mind doesn’t get it.
Maybe appearance is just an earthly thing.

We so often Say
Beauty is something inside.
That it is what is inside that makes a person.

Is that how it is?
Do you look like who you are?
Not like the body on earth which carried you?

If that is so…
I know I have seen you
I’ve seen the Angel you are when you were on earth.

I think of you daily
I  so miss all your questions
I’ll have so many questions someday to ask you.
