Words for the Journey

Discover a sanctuary of perspectives, tools, and shared experiences written for people living with grief.

Here's a poem my 10 year daughter wrote about her uncle(Timmy Reber), who became a homicide victim on Feb 10th 2012.

I am a tree,
I want to be free,
But I belong here,
I hope freedom is near.
I lay still,
But I am grateful I won't get ill,
Laying here.
100 years still looking,
If freedom is near.
