True Friendships always last forever

And we’ll sure miss your smiling face

We didn’t know that you’d be leaving

As you’re now in Heaven’s embrace

Life wasn’t easy in your path

Sometimes we truly saw you strain

Now you are free from all your trials

Free from your worry and your pain

As you were called back home to Heaven

And Angels came to take your hand

Please know we send our love with you

As you now live in Heaven’s land

We didn’t think you’d leave so soon

And though we didn’t say goodbye

We send our love to you in Heaven

As you now soar in Heaven’s sky

So when our time on Earth is over

And we meet you around the Bend

We’ll pick right up where we left off

For true friendships, they have no end
