Christmas without you

So Christmas is nearly upon us

So much rushing around to doThe tree, the lights, the presentsAnd then I think of you How much should we be doingAt this special time of yearKnowing you're not with usTo celebrate and cheer It's time to choose your presentAnother heartache to go throughDo we go with marble, stone or graniteOnly the best will do I know you would still want usTo laugh, to smile, have funBut we're so lost without youAnd now what's done, is done I take each day as it comesDon't look further than todaySo when Christmas starts without youYou'll be with us, I pray
