As the sun sinks behind the trees,
and shadows stretch across the floor,
I'm wishing that I could turn back time
to the way things were before.

I still feel your head in my lap
when I sit down to watch TV,
and I cry sometimes when I drive your truck,
sitting where you're supposed to be.

A life without you in it
is not what I had planned,
but plans slip through your fingers
just like grains of sand.

Missing you....always.
