SHE NEVER CARED FOR FLOWERS

Dominick Parisi 3/6/2016

Vision of beauty, fragrance to amaze,

Blossom through sunshine and showers,

But live a brief life of merely a few days,

So, She Never Cared For Flowers,

Vision of beauty that time can't distort,

Blossomed through love she cherished the hours,

Living a life that was much too short,

No, She Never Cared For Flowers,

She said, "Show me your love in other ways,

Smother me with kisses, caress till I cry,

Hug me so tightly, say sweet words each day,

Don't give me flowers for they soon fade and die.",

No, She Never Cared For Flowers,

Flowers live for a while, become shriveled and dried,

We met, we loved, but life isn't ours,

She's heaven's new star, and with her my soul died.
