Words for the Journey

Discover a sanctuary of perspectives, tools, and shared experiences written for people living with grief.

We all have a circle somewhere in our existence that represents wholeness. A representation can be drawn on paper or simply in your mind and the starting line is never broken. Everything is connected.

Our individual circles give us a sense of belonging, of safety, of our part in a very large chaotic world. I drew my circle years ago, when my eldest son was a teenager and my youngest girl was a toddler. I've kept it because it's still my circle, the reason I exist.I lost my Sunshine seven and one half years ago. Living without Sunshine for that long has been devastating; I continue on and survive because I still have my Beauty, my Compassion and my Strength.

Please, all that is Good, let them live long and let their circles not be broken.
