I am the mother of three young men. They are the focus of my Mom-life. In my professional life: I am a child care director of a small facility. Up until Jan 2014, I was a wife first then mom then child care director in the Mid West. After Jan 2014 I was a widow, a mom, a child care director and a person just trying to hold it together. I have walked the grief journey since the loss of my mother in law in Aug 2013 and restarted my journey again with the death of my husband in Jan 2014. I believe that my strength comes from God and that each day is a learning experience on how to help others with their grief journey. My goal is to use my experiences with grief to help others to understand the grieving and the processes that the bereaved go through.
