Discover a sanctuary of perspectives, tools, and shared experiences written for people living with grief.

Her rose has turned to white,

My mom she’s nowhere in sight.

She lost the battle she fought

She’s gone where she ought.

She was lifted

By Him and gifted

Dancing in heaven

She passed away February eleven

Singing with the angels choir

Sometimes I hear her

“Praise Him, Praise Him

All the little children.

God is love, God is love.”

Sometimes I hear

“I got the joy, joy, joy, joy

down in my heart,

down in my heart,

down in my heart,

I got the joy, joy, joy, joy,

Down in my heart

Down in my heart to stay.

And I’m so happy, so very happy

I got the love of Jesus down in my heart..”

She’s kneeling before him,

Mom’s body whole again.

And I praise Jesus

He had her on earth with us

Even if it was a short time,

Vicki will always be mine.

My mom.
