I'm still recovering from Mother's Day even though it will be 4 years this June my mom's been gone. It's pretty internally torturous, to be quite honest, but I'm fully dedicated to moving through those crappy, difficult emotions. It's probably the hardest human thing we can do.

Last week my task was to find some childhood pictures for my daughter who wanted to use them..ughhhh. My biggest "trigger" is pics. But I knew I needed to. Well Miss "Hey, I speaking publicly to people about strength and bravery, and sit and sign books about it all" grabbed her Ipod and went running out of the house "ugly crying"!

Thoughts on the Tragedy in Boston

We haven't even come close to understanding the "whys" of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, and now we are confronted with the horrific happenings of the bombings at the Boston Marathon yesterday...this time taking another child's life - an 8-year-old boy - an innocent bystander who was cheering on the runners as they neared the finish line of the marathon.
