Words for the Journey

The Moment that we pass from the Physical World to Heaven, we are immediately filled with love. If you took the most love that you have ever felt in your entire life and multiply it by infinity, then, you may then begin to understand the feeling of Heaven.

 We all need to feel seen and heard. This is especially true when we're hurting from a loss.  From the Grieving Heart:

 Many of those around us can't relate. Or perhaps they don't want to. We wonder if anyone cares.  From the Grieving Heart:

 When grieving, we can feel trapped. It can feel like our options are stripped away, one by one.  From the Grieving Heart:

 Special days become huge triggers for grieving hearts. Birthdays can be especially difficult.  

 The human voice is powerful. Our ears are attuned to the pitch and cadence of the voices of those we love. We hear them in our hearts and our dreams. 

While on the road to Heaven The streets are paved with Love The lights that shine the way for us Are made by God Above Sweet music fills the air around... As Angels sing their song Our family there to meet us

 When loss hits, we feel vulnerable. This is natural and common, but uncomfortable. Life feels shaky, even scary now.

Having lost 4 family members in just over 3 years, my world was turned upside down. I felt an ache in my heart and in my arms. I knew they were still in my heart but I needed something I could physically hold or actually see to comfort me. Although nothing brought them back or took away the pain, having some tangible reminders of them eased the pain.

This will cannot be fixed. Those around us, however, will try.  Most are well-intentioned, perhaps, but that doesn't make their words helpful.
